Investment Approach

Silver Palm Capital is a private investment firm based in South Florida. Our firm’s focus is to acquire or invest in profitable, growing companies as well as distressed or bankruptcy investments in partnership with existing owners and management teams. Silver Palm Capital sponsors and finances management buyouts, recapitalizations and succession planning transactions.

Our experience and partnerships provide the firm’s portfolio companies with a deep bench of operating and financial expertise usually unobtainable by companies in this segment. Rather than managing portfolio companies’ day-to-day operations, Silver Palm Capital typically takes an active value creation role at the Board of Directors level assisting companies in the following areas:

Creating meaningful incentive compensation plans for owners and key management

Providing additional capital to fund company growth

Pursuing and executing add-on acquisitions when strategically and financially appropriate

Improving operating efficiencies via cost reductions leveraging our network and expertise

Improving financial efficiencies through capital structure and financial ratio optimization

Optimizing working capital management

Identifying and implementing organic revenue growth strategies and margin improvement opportunities

Recruiting additional operational and financial managers when appropriate

Implementing cash controls and standardizing financial and operational reporting, including regular tracking of key operational metrics

This combination of capital and operating resources is the basis for our “value-added” approach and is proven to enhance shareholder value when preparing companies for exit to a broader range of strategic and financial buyers in the future; value-added for our partners, our portfolio companies and our investors.
